MSA is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Analyst to support the design, delivery, and administration of our Total Rewards programs. In this role, yo u’ll use data-driven insights to help ensure fair, competitive compensation and impactful benefits for our employee-owners. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, vendors, and HR partners in a culture that values teamwork, trust, and continuous improvement. This role can be either our Baraboo, Madison, Dubuque or Milwaukee offices with a flexible work environment.

What you will do:
Analyze and recommend enhancements to MSA's compensation programs, including salary structures, job architecture, market benchmarking, and pay practices to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
Prepare and analyze data for the annual compensation cycle, including merit increases and market adjustments.
Conduct internal equity and market analyses to ensure competitive and consistent compensation recommendations.
Administer incentive programs, including bonus calculations and annual Total Rewards Statements.
Oversee benefits administration across medical, dental, vision, retirement, and disability programs.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to compensation and benefits.
Partner with HRIS and leadership to develop reporting and support enhancements to Total Rewards systems and processes.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience supporting compensation, benefits, HR analytics, or Total Rewards programs.
Strong knowledge of compensation practices, including market pricing, salary structure design, and pay equity analysis.
Experience analyzing and administering benefits programs, with exposure to self-funded plans and ESOP environments preferred.
Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret trends and build data-driven recommendations.
Experience working within HRIS systems and collaborating across teams to enhance Total Rewards processes.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
CCP or CBP certification is a plus.
Why MSA?
The salary for this position ranges from $79,081 to $126,500 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
