What you will do:
Support engineering teams through field investigations, data collection, and construction observation.
Assist with design calculations, modeling, and project documentation under the mentorship of experienced engineers.
Prepare and contribute to reports, feasibility studies, design documents, permits, and technical memos.
Use industry-standard software tools including Microsoft Office, GIS, CADD, and engineering analysis platforms.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Team Leaders, and peers to support successful project delivery.
Participate in client meetings and represent MSA professionally during site visits.
Contribute to both office and field assignments, including occasional travel and varied outdoor work.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
Internship or co-op experience preferred, but not required.
Strong foundational knowledge of engineering principles and a desire to deepen technical expertise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Curiosity, initiative, and a team-first mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance and adapt to changing project needs.
Interest in pursuing EIT certification and, eventually, PE licensure.

Why MSA?
The salary for this position ranges from $62,615 to $100,185 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
