This position is based out of our Madison, WI office location. The GIS Analyst operates in a high paced consulting environment and organization as well as technical skills are paramount to success. This position is primarily office based, with scheduling flexibility options available to discuss.

What You’ll Do:

• Collect and convert field data into accurate GIS databases
• Perform basic GIS analysis and create maps for reports and public meetings
• Support internal teams with spatial data, mapping, and geoprocessing tools
• Work with streaming data and static data from a variety of sources by combining them into singular clean datasets
• Work with engineers to create/prep data for modeling in other software
• Use GIS to create and edit data for Civil 3D/CADD
• Ensure data quality and consistency with company GIS standards
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and senior GIS staff on a variety of projects

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field required
• Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop 10.x, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online
• Basic understanding of cartography, spatial data, and coordinate systems
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-based environment

The salary for this position ranges from $55,717 to $89,148 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
