MSA is excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Manager Engineering at our Duluth, MN or St. Paul, MN office. This position is on our Public Works Service line and works closely with a wide variety of municipal clients as a project manager for civil engineering projects. 

This position is Flex Time eligible, meaning that hours worked over 40-hours in a week are recognized with future time off opportunities. Hybrid/flexible working arrangements are also available.

Your mission:

• Client relations including attendance at client meetings and interaction with existing and new clients
• Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
• Design of public works infrastructure projects
• Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
• Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
• Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
• Administration of construction on public works infrastructure projects

The salary for this position ranges from $88,800 to $142,000 per year commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related) required
• 5+ years of prior experience within the Public Works market serving multiple clients required
• PE license strongly preferred
• Experience in managing multiple projects and client needs required
• Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred
