Responsibilities

Your mission:

  • Collaborate with design professional teams to identify and develop innovative programming solutions.
  • Implement solutions that support and enhance existing project delivery processes within the Autodesk Suite.
  • Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary Applied Technology and Innovation team.
  • Grow, develop, update, and support digital design, 3D modeling, and BIM/CIM software.
  • Establish and maintain standards and processes for design in the AEC industry.
  • Solve complex problems by developing functional, robust, optimized, and scalable solutions.
  • Support engineers, architects, scientists, and other technology specialists with their Autodesk needs.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering, Architecture, Software Engineering or related field or at least 5 years equivalent combination of education and experience in an engineering architecture firm or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience
  • Experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Industry is desirable.
  • Strong written and personal communication skills with experience in technical document writing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Dynamo, C#, Python, and .NET.
  • Experience working with APIs such as the Revit API.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Platform Services (APS) and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) principles and workflows.
  • Proficient software development practices including testing (unit and functional) and code reviews
  • Knowledge of Git and version control concepts
  • Experience with Version Control, developing web applications, automation of tasks, and how to write tests for automated deployment
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements & solutions.
