As MSA grows in the number and scope of civil engineering projects, employees and offices, we are in need of a dynamic Business Project Manager to lead enterprise projects, drive innovation, and coach others to do the same. In this role you will manage resources, timelines, and budgets while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, directly contributing to our success in serving the communities we live, work and play in.  This role can be onsite, hybrid or remote within WI, IA, MN or IL.

Responsibilities

Your mission:

  • Oversee multiple projects and project team members independently from scope of services, scheduling resources, stake holder planning, project set up and close.
  • Serve as the primary owner for complex projects.
  • Ensure team members charge expenses to the right phase and identify and address budget concerns.
  • Coach others to apply expert project and change management methodologies.
  • Participate in internal committees and process improvements.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of project management experience.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to manage budgets, timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP certification preferred) and Agile Methodology.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project and Power BI.
  • Ability to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
  • Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing requirements.
