MSA has an opportunity for a Real Estate Project Manager that can be based out of anywhere in Wisconsin. This position will manage projects related to the acquisition process of real estate., with a focus on right of way acquisition for transportation projects. This position is part of a collaborative Real Estate team that works within a multi-discipline consulting engineer environment. This listing is for our Madison, WI office.

The work you may do
• Directs and successfully completes a project with limited interactions from the Team Leader or staff
• Successfully performs and oversees all activities associated with the negotiation and acquisition process of real estate purchases related to transportation and municipal projects
• As a project manager, assigns duties and leads others in ensuring successful completion of projects
• Serves in QAQC role for deliverables for other Real Estate staff
• Assists in mentoring less experienced Real Estate staff
• Performs billings, and assists Team Leader in contracting, proposals, and interviews
What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
• 10 or more years of eminent-domain based real estate experience required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience and completion of IRWA and other related courses to be accepted on the WisDOT Approved List of Negotiators
• Experience or training for project and/or delivery management
• Current WisDOT Approved Negotiator with a Real Estate sales or Broker license
• Experience with Real Estate Program Manual of the WisDOT and eminent domain process required
• Expertise of the Federal Uniform Act and Wisconsin Statute Chapter 32
• This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
