MSA has an opportunity for a full time Talent Acquisition Partner for any of the following office locations: Ankeny, IA; St Paul, MN; Baraboo, WI; Dubuque, IA; Madison, WI; or Milwaukee, WI. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for MSA’s recruitment strategy, creating and analyzing recruitment data and conducting full life-cycle recruitment activities. This position with partner with another member of our Human Resource team to complete sourcing, screening, interviewing, and making candidate offers for jobs within our multi-discipline engineering consulting firm. This person will lead the strategic plan for our school recruitment partnerships and own our university and college career fair program.

The work you will do

  • Identify, build, and execute effective recruiting strategies for all types of jobs, from intern positions to experienced project managers
  • Coordinate with hiring teams to identify staffing needs
  • Source candidates utilizing social media, resume databases, Boolean searches, industry contacts, professional networks, and career events
  • Gather, analyze, and tell the story of recruitment metrics for understanding and decision-making
  • Use iCIMS to manage full cycle recruiting
  • Organize and manage the fall and spring career fair events
  • Work to ensure diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices
  • Assist with the company’s Affirmative Action Plans
  • Manage the company’s employee referral program


What you bring
Required Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology, or related field
  • 5 years minimum of full life-cycle in-house recruiting experience in a medium to large business
  • Track record for successfully sourcing passive, professional candidates
  • Demonstrated understanding of recruiting technology and trends, with ability to research new ideas and present recommendations to leadership
  • Ability to create recruiting analytics to present to leaders and to utilize to impact your recruiting strategy
  • Demonstrated initiative and accountability
  • Ability to independently manage multiple competing priorities and constantly prioritize
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and service orientation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team 
  • This position requires authorization to work in the United States.
